Christmas Letter 2010

We were married in March of 07’ you see And much has happened since then and we Are glad to report that all goes well Since the blessed day with the wedding bells. We know this letter’s the highlight of your year And when you receive it you stand up and cheer But we’ve much to tell you so sit back and listen To the Crump’s Christmas Cadence 2010 edition Caely, our daughter, is 20 months old 90th percentile for height and weight we’re told Ever so bold and ever so cunning She loves family, coloring, swimming and running Cutting new teeth is her primary job And her favorite cartoon is surely Sponge Bob Say’s her ABC’s and counts up to 20 With her, rest assured, the good times are plenty For most of the year Ashley coached at Tempe High Track and Cross Country are her sports, no lie! To prove it she recently ran a Half Marathon 13.2 miles in 2 hrs 26 sec, awesome for her first one Ashley works for her mom doing Medical Transcription This is very convenient in our current condition She can work from home and be with Caely And still have time to go to the gym daily Ashley will soon have another achievement Almost finished her Medical Transcription Certificate She’s close to finishing with one more semester But still not quite sure what she’s going to do after Now onto Bryson who’s had quite a few changes Mostly with Wells Fargo and the work he’s engaged in Some five years ago Bryson made a plan Of things to accomplish in the future and Among them was the ambitious goal Of becoming a Manager with Wells Fargo In August he applied for a Manager position In Tucson, AZ to complete his mission. We’re thrilled to report that he got the job This obviously means that a move was involved True being away from family’s not easy But it’s a chance to grow, even though it sounds cheesy We had to find renters for our house in Tempe Never thought we’d be land lords, and so far we Have not had any problems besides some small repairs Now we use an apartment in Tucson as our lair This year we have had lots of adventures And below you’ll read about some of our ventures Along with some news about some of our family And some other things we feel are just dandy We had a pipe bust at our house in Tempe We tore down some wall and fixed it, yippee! Now Bryson knows how to do tile, drywall and texture Which came real handy to his in-laws enrapture They also had a pipe that had a very bad leak So Bryson put his new skills to work all that week We thought ‘twas the end of our fun home repairs But they say misfortune comes in trios not pairs Our AC went POOF! Right before summer We totally agree, oh man what a bummer But now everything’s fixed and working just fine So at least for now we have peace of mind. Last year for Christmas Ashley bought Bryson tickets To see his favorite band MUSE and boy was it worth it We took a day trip to Tonto National Bridge in May To spend time with family and to just get away Bryson and Ashley both have brothers On missions for the LDS church serving others Jordan’s in New York, Logan’s in San Bernardino Both speaking Spanish better than we know. Speaking of missions, Bryson’s Grandparents got back From Oklahoma as a matter of fact We’ve much to be grateful for this Holiday Season For our family, good health, and jobs with good reason But what we’re most grateful for this time of year Is the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and here When many are focused on presents and things We’re grateful for the gift of our Savior and King But whatever you celebrate this Holiday Season Be it Christmas or Kwanza or Hanukah even The happiest of Holidays and many more From ABC Crump, our family to yours
